WHOIS, simply put, is a database used to query whether a domain name has been registered and detailed information about the registered domain (such as domain owner, domain registrar, domain registration date and expiration date, etc.). By querying the domain WHOIS server, you can find the contact information of the domain owner, as well as the registration and expiration time. You can access it with /whois!
Explanation of domain expiration deletion rules:
International domains:
(1) Resolution is suspended on the day of expiration. If not renewed within 72 hours, the domain DNS is pointed to an advertisement page (parking). 30-45 days after expiration is the domain grace period (the time varies according to different registrar policies).
(2) After the grace period, the domain enters the redemption period (REDEMPTIONPERIOD, lasting 30 days).
(3) After the redemption period, the domain enters a deletion period of about 5 days. After the deletion period, the domain becomes open and anyone can register it.

(2) 36-48 days after expiration, it enters a 13-day high-price redemption period, during which the domain cannot be managed.
(3) If still not renewed 48 days after expiration, the domain will be deleted at any time.
